Reconnecting after 10 years by E15 Annemieke Inder

Our 2015 ten-year reunion on the 25th of October was a delight. It was truly lovely to reconnect with familiar faces and catch up on the many paths our lives have taken since leaving school. The afternoon also gave us the chance to see the incredible changes that have taken place on campus over the past decade—the new facilities, refreshed classrooms and evolving learning spaces and labs were genuinely impressive.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch together, with relaxed conversation and long-overdue catch-ups. It was also encouraging to hear about the meaningful opportunities available to support current learners, especially the developments in the Media Centre and the initiatives focused on sponsoring tertiary education for students who need it. It felt special to see how our community can still make a difference.
The overall turnout was good, although we certainly missed many of our classmates who now live overseas. Even so, the atmosphere remained warm, nostalgic and full of laughter—a reminder of the strong bonds formed during our school years.
All in all, it was a truly lovely afternoon, filled with connection, reflection and a renewed sense of pride in our school and each other.”
